Pyrotechniq Legend and Capabilities

Pyrotechniq is a Chicago, IL and Iowa-based Fire and Performance Art Troupe. In early 2006, a group of diverse Chicago fire spinners joined together to form Pyrotechniq.  Shortly thereafter, two moved to Iowa City, Iowa, where they live to this day.  This geographic diversity provides us a unique opportunity to share our gifts with diverse audiences.  We are diverse and ever-evolving in our skills and style.  Pyrotechniq is the premiere working fire troupe in Chicago.

We specialize in fully-immersive Fire and Ultraviolet (UV) kinetic performances. We continue to evolve our craft with an ever-increasing repertoire of fire and ultraviolet-based tools, weapons, and performance pieces, including, but not limited to:

Theatrical Fire Productions

We have significant experience designing, producing, and executing visually stunning kinetic fire performances. Our diverse client base includes commercial entities, large and small corporations, government and civic bodies, non-profits and individuals. We perform at festivals, schools, weddings, downtown centers, clubs, private events, and per our ethos - ANYWHERE. Our performances are custom-developed to fit your unique requirements, hence each show is a one-time unique work of elemental art

Aerial Performance

We also have the capabilities to perform aerial silk acts, a la Cirque De Soleil. Our artists are available for single or dual performances on one or two sets of silks. Aerial acrobatics is a delicate artform that requires advanced preparation and may sometimes not be available.
