We are a licensed fire and specialty performance company based out of Chicago, IL. Our shows engage any audience with the powerful element of mystery combined with dance, fire, glow, prop manipulation, creative costuming, dramatic sound, and energetic choreography. We’ve been helping clients create memorable events since 2006.

Our diverse range within the company spans from the art of fire to glowing LED props, from bellydance to aerial acrobatics, from live drumming or marching band music to today’s current hits, and much more.

For over 10 years, Pyrotechniq has provided top quality entertainment services to the Chicagoland area and continental United States. Our passions began with fire and light, creating choreographed spectacles with primal elements. Over the years, our services have expanded to include a buffet of entertainment and full service production selections. We love what we do and take great pride in our finished products.  Let our incredible team of diverse talents bring your vision to life.

Our Motto?

We perform anytime, anywhere, for any reason, because we love what we do.

INNOVATION. DEDICATION. ENTERTAINMENT. AESTHETIC.

fire breathers full moon jam

Pyrotechniq is a proud sponsor and ally of the Full Moon Jam. The FMJ is a monthly, family-oriented, and free gathering for the community from May to October that centers on a public display of fire dancing. We promote safe practices in the fire arts via monthly community safety meetings. The Full Moon Jam is a fully permitted event through the Chicago Parks District and Chicago Fire Department, and part of the Night Out in the Parks event series.

The jams are run by a dedicated team of volunteer organizers, who devote their time, energy, and skills to curating the jams and growing the FMJ community. Everyone involved in each jam – performers, drummers, rangers, and other community members – regularly pitches in to keep the jams running smoothly and safely. Volunteers are the heart of the FMJ community and help to promote our core values of “Leave No Trace,” “Family-Friendly,” “Safety First,” and celebrating an inclusive, welcoming environment full of music, dancing, and fire.

The FMJ is curated by the Full Moon Jam Foundation, an Illinois 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2016.
