Pyrotechniq is a 9 member, Chicago, IL and Iowa-based, fully insured fire performance troupe. Regarded as the Midwest's premier fire dancers with over 40 years combined experience, we perform locally and around the world.
Pyrotechniq is an excellent choice for all events! Including all forms of celebration, corporate events, private parties and concerts. Think big and think small, indoor or out, we burn for all. Shows are customizable and appropriate for any style of event and age group.
Our performances incorporate a diverse range of styles, fire tools and themes. No two shows are alike, with each performance custom-tailored to your event and needs. Our capabilities include the art of fire with belly dance, aerial acrobatics, ultraviolet (uv)-reactive fabrics/tools and live drumming.

Theatrical Fire Productions
We have significant experience designing, producing, and executing visually stunning kinetic fire performances. Our diverse client base includes commercial entities, large and small corporations, government and civic bodies, non-profits and individuals. We perform at festivals, schools, weddings, downtown centers, clubs, private events, and per our ethos - ANYWHERE. Our performances are custom-developed to fit your unique requirements, hence each show is a one-time unique work of elemental art.

UV (Blacklight) Performances
In addition to fire performances, Pyrotechniq specializes in UV performances. Using a combination of fire equipment modified to be UV reactive, hand-died UV reactive silk fabrics (flags) along with specially created Robot Suits that react to blacklight, Pyrotechniq is skilled at creating performances that include no fire.
Belly Dancing
Pyrotechniq often incorporates belly dancing into it's performances; whether as a pure element or combined with our rich fire arts. Belly dance, with or without fire, is a wonderful gift for bachelorette parties (with mini-class), birthdays, retirements, and many, many other events and engagements. We can also be booked for solo belly dancing performances!
Live Screen Printing
